With Adelaide’s 2026 campaign coming to an end in Saturday night’s Semi-Final, we take a look at some of the key stats and individual performers against Brisbane.

Tex finishes with two final goals

Adelaide’s all-time leading goalkicker Taylor Walker booted two last-quarter goals to finish his AFL career with 715 goals from 319 games. He is ranked 26th on the all-time VFL/AFL goals list, two behind St Kilda champion Nick Riewoldt who kicked 717 goals in 336 games. Walker also holds the Club record for the most goals in finals, with 28 in 14 games. Only two Crows have played more games for the Club – Andrew McLeod (340) and Tyson Edwards (321).  

Hall-Kahan shines off half-back

Hugo Hall-Kahan was Adelaide’s highest rated player. The dashing mid-season draftee had 24 disposals at 87.5 per cent efficiency with nine score involvements from half-back, in his 13th AFL game.  

Curtin, Berry, Keays and Borlase lead the numbers

Dan Curtin won a team-high seven clearances for Adelaide, with five of these out of the centre square. Sam Berry collected a game-high 31 disposals in his 100th AFL game; Ben Keays had a team-high 10 score involvements; and James Borlase made a team-high eight spoils. 

Rachele tops Adelaide’s goalkicking

Josh Rachele was Adelaide’s leading goalkicker in 2026. He finished with 42.21 after kicking 1.1 on Saturday night. Riley Thilthorpe was next with 37, followed by Walker (35), Keays and Darcy Fogarty (both 34).

Fast start keeps Gabba streak intact

It was Adelaide’s third loss in three finals against Brisbane at the Gabba. The Crows lost the 2002 Qualifying Final by 71 points and then the 2003 Semi-final by 41 points, in what was two-time premiership captain Mark Bickley’s 272nd and last game. Brisbane set up Saturday night’s 53-point win with a blistering start, kicking five goals in the first seven minutes before Adelaide took the ball inside 50.
