A trio of Crows has signed contract extensions to stay in Adelaide’s tri-colours until 2028 and beyond.

Speedy midfielder Teah Charlton has become the Club’s first AFLW player to be signed to at least 2030 having penned a four-year extension, while young winger Keeley Kustermann and key forward India Rasheed have signed on until at least the end of the 2028 season.

Charlton’s signing comes off the back of her career-best game against Brisbane last Sunday, where she had 19 touches, eight clearances, 13 tackles, 349 metres gained and kicked a goal.

Charlton, 24, has played 77 games for Adelaide since debuting in 2021 and said she was pleased to lock into the Club for the long-term.

“To sign on until at least the end of 2030 was an easy decision for me,” Charlton, a 2022 premiership player, said.

“I grew up supporting this Club, so to be able to continue my career here is something I don't take for granted.
“I’m really excited by the young talent coming through and the direction this club is heading and I’m proud to be part of what we’re building together.”

Rasheed, 19, made her AFLW debut in 2025, after being drafted by Adelaide at Pick 13.

The Sturt product, who was a two-time Under-18 All-Australian, played every game last season – a special feat for a debutant’s first year – earning a Rising Star nomination in Round 11.

So far this year, Rasheed has played four games, which have included a career-best 17 disposals against Hawthorn in Round Four and a two-goal haul against Geelong in Round Five.

Last year, Rasheed signed a one-year extension that took her to 2027, but she said she wanted to further commit to remain a part of the Crows' new era, with new players, new coaching staff and a clear path for future success.

“I’m so excited by the future of this team,” Rasheed said.

“The core group that we have at the moment is a group that I think can challenge for a premiership, while our young new players are so exciting to train and play alongside.

“I love this Club and I’m looking forward to the years to come.”

Keeley Kustermann, 22, was drafted to the Crows in 2022 with Pick 40 and has played 33 games for Adelaide since debuting in 2022 (Season Seven).

After playing only two games in her first two seasons, Kustermann has worked hard to become a mainstay of the side and this season, the 166cm winger has taken her football to a new level, registering career-best averages in almost all statistical metrics including disposals (7. 5) and tackles (3.3).

“I absolutely love this team and I genuinely look forward to coming to work every day,” Kustermann said.

“We’ve got such an exiting young team and I’m really excited about what we can build together over the next few years.”

Crows Executive General Manager AFLW Bree Brock said the three players added speed, strength and footy intelligence to Adelaide’s list.

“Each of these players plays a key role in our team and we’re thrilled they see their futures here,” Brock said.

“The way Teah attacked her pre-season and now the start of this season, means that every time she steps on the field she is getting better and better and we see her as a big part of our midfield group going forward and we’re excited for her that she’s signed on for another four years.

“For India, she’s got so much footy IQ and brings so much strength to our forward line. She doesn’t need many opportunities to make a real impact on the game and has a very bright future ahead of her.

“She’s very well loved by her teammates and staff off field too so it’s just fantastic to be able to shape the journey ahead with her.

“And Keeley is simply the ultimate teammate, doing a lot of the hard stuff and grind out on the field during games.

"She is another player who impacts the group positively inside our four walls, she’s always got a smile on her face even in the hardest of sessions; she is the ultimate professional and another young player to keep building with.”
