Adelaide has made two changes to its team ahead of Showdown V against crosstown rivals Port Adelaide.

As the Club announced earlier on Thursday, recruit Alice Tentye has been named to make her League debut in Saturday night’s match.

Utility Brooke Tonon also comes into the team and is set to line-up in her first match since Round Two against Carlton.

Adelaide Executive General Manager Women’s Football Bree Brock said Tonon had continued to push her case for selection through the scrimmage matches and her persistence was being rewarded with a recall to the team.

“Brooke has worked incredibly hard over the past few months and has shown great resilience in the way she has approached her footy,” Brock said.

“She gives us flexibility with her ability to impact the game in a number of roles and we’re pleased to welcome her back into the side.

“Brooke is a player who brings great energy to the group and we’re looking forward to seeing her make her mark on Saturday night.”

Tentye joined the Crows as a replacement player ahead of this season, following a rapid rise through the South Australian football ranks.

The SA-born midfielder only started playing in the SANFLW for Woodville-West Torrens in 2025 after being scouted from the Limestone Coast.

She caught the eye of the Crows’ recruiters after a standout campaign with the Eagles, in which she averaged 26 disposals, 9.4 tackles, 4.1 clearances and 3.6 marks per game.

Adelaide will be looking to atone for last year’s Showdown when they went down to Port Adelaide by seven points.

Brock said Saturday night presented another opportunity to add to the two Club’s rivalry and players would embrace the occasion.

She hoped to see plenty of Crows fans pack out Alberton Oval.

“It’s really exciting for myself and Ryan to be part of our first Showdown and experience the rivalry firsthand,” Brock said.

“We know how passionate our team is about this game and how much it means to them.

“We’d love to see plenty of Crows fans get down to Alberton and help create a fantastic atmosphere.

“Our supporters have always been a huge part of what we do, and their energy and passion can make a real difference in a big game like this.”

Olivia Gorman and Lucy Waye have been omitted.

Lily Tarlinton, Hannah Ewings and Juliet Kelly have been named on the emergency list.

Adelaide faces Port Adelaide at Alberton Oval on Saturday at 6.45pm.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for Members and fans aged 15-17, while children under-14 receive free entry.
