The Adelaide Football Club has unveiled its new AFLW Pride guernsey, featuring a refreshed design ahead of this season’s Pride Round.
Marking the Club's first Pride guernsey update since 2023, the jumper celebrates community, inclusion and belonging through a powerful message of unity; as one.
For the first time in Club history, the Pride guernsey has been designed in collaboration with players, with Teah Charlton, Brooke Tonon, Sarah Allan and former Crow Anne Hatchard all contributing to the final design.
Unveiled on Tuesday ahead of Pride Round kicking off this weekend, the 2026 guernsey visually represents the people, experiences and stories that make up the Adelaide Football Club community.
Through a series of Pride-inspired elements and symbols, the guernsey celebrates the strength found in individuality while reinforcing Adelaide’s commitment to creating an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued and supported, whether they identify as LGBTQI+ or as an ally.
At the centre of the design is the Crows logo, displayed across the front in rainbow colours to symbolise diversity and visibility.
The colours of the Progressive Pride Flag feature on the shoulders of both the navy home guernsey and white clash guernsey, reinforcing a message of inclusion and belonging.
On the back, the words ‘as one’ represent the connection shared between players, staff, Members and fans, while a silhouette of people linking arms celebrates the many identities, experiences and backgrounds that make the Club stronger together.
Charlton said players had been working on the new design for the past year and were happy with the final result.
“We wanted something that was more connected to the group, we’ve had the same guernsey for a few years in a row, so having something brand new that we helped create is so exciting,” Charlton said.
“It means a lot to me, it’s an extra special moment knowing I’ve had input in something my whole team is going to wear.”
Tonon said the jumper was a reminder of the importance of creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves.
“For Pride in general, I think it’s really important to show that we have the support systems here to be our true selves and we are very proud to be our true selves,” Tonon said.
“We love the design, I think it looks classy, clean and simplistic and encapsulates Pride as a whole.
“Pride is about being proud of who you are, no matter where you come from and just being able to be your authentic self.”
Allan said having an opportunity to help create the guernsey alongside her teammates made the design so special.
“It’s so cool to see our design in the flesh, and it was really great to work with Teah and Brooke on this,” Allan said.
“Everyone wants to feel like they belong and feel included, so for us, it’s so important to make sure we’re as inclusive as possible.
“I think that’s what the AFLW has been since day one, and we are just continuing to make sure people feel they can be themselves at our Club.
“I am so excited to be able to run out in the guernsey.”
The Crows will wear the clash version of the guernsey against Richmond at IKON Park on Saturday, October 10, and the home version against Gold Coast at Unley Oval on Saturday, October 17.
