A trio of Adelaide youngsters has been named in the 2026 AFLW Players’ Association (AFLPA) 22Under22 squad.
Sarah Goodwin, Chloe Bown and Jemmika Douglas have been included in the 44-player squad, which was announced on Thursday afternoon.
The AFLPA’s AFLW 22Under22 is fan voted and recognises the best players aged under 22 during the home and away season.
Goodwin, who became a bonafide midfielder this season, finished the year with career-high numbers, averaging 18.9 disposals, 4.3 tackles and 3.7 clearances across 12 games.
Bown, who was selected with Pick No.5 at the 2025 Draft, debuted in Round One and made an immediate impact.
Starting off as a half-forward, before moving into the midfield in the latter part of this season, the 18-year-old played all 12 games, averaging 16.1 possessions, four tackles and 1.8 clearances.
Bown was also recognised with a Round 10 Telstra AFLW Rising Star nominee after a standout performance against Gold Coast.
Against the Suns, Bown finished with a career-high 25 disposals (17 contested), four inside-50s, six tackles, nine clearances and a goal.
Douglas became a key cog in defence for the Crows in 2026, turning heads after signing as a replacement player ahead of this season from North Melbourne’s VFL team.
After making her League debut in Round Two, the 20-year-old played every game thereafter, averaging 11.1 disposals, 2.8 tackles.
Voting closes Thursday, November 12 at 11.29pm (ACDT).
The final team will then be revealed on Thursday, November 19, at 11.30am (ACDT).
