Crows co-captain Taylor Walker believes 2018 draft picks Chayce Jones and Ned McHenry are both pushing for AFL selection.

Speaking on Triple M’s Roo and Ditts, Walker said there would be “a lot of pressure” on selectors for Round Nine.

“I saw them both play against Norwood two weeks ago,” Walker said.

“They were both outstanding.

“Their names would both be up on the whiteboard for sure.”

Adelaide will travel to Brisbane to face a resurgent Lions side that includes two former Crows - Charlie Cameron and Jarryd Lyons.

Walker expected Cameron - a member of Adelaide’s 2017 Grand Final side - to prove quite the headache for defenders.

“We’re going to have to close him (Cameron) down, he’s in some good form,” Walker said.

“He’s going alright, he’s a good kid Charlie, I love him.

“They’re (Brisbane) playing some good footy.”

Speaking about the Crows’ Showdown win on Saturday night, Walker said both teams were “up for the fight”.

“We knew it was going to be like that (heavily contested) for a period of time,” he said.

“Then it sort of just opened up and both of us were able to score.

“We probably hit the scoreboard a bit better.

“Then a little comeback at the end to keep everyone on the edge of their seats, get the money's worth out of the tickets.”
