Promising Adelaide youngster Elliott Himmelberg will miss Saturday's under-23 trial game against Port Adelaide at Thebarton Oval with a minor foot injury.

The 20-year-old aggravated his plantar fascia, but should be available for selection for the Crows' first JLT Community Series game with the Power in Port Pirie on March 2.

SQUAD: Full side named for trial match

The 198cm forward is an exciting long-term prospect for the Crows and made his debut in last year's round 23 thumping of Carlton, having 13 touches and kicking a goal.

Midfielder Brad Crouch – who missed all of last year with groin soreness – will play in the under-23 trial, along with fellow over-age player Alex Keath.
