Adelaide’s 21-point win over Greater Western Sydney on Saturday night arrested a two-game losing streak to the AFL’s newest club.

After winning eight of the first nine encounters between the two sides, the Crows dropped both fixtures to the Giants in 2018.

The Round 12 result takes the overall ledger to 9 wins and 3 losses.

Trailing by four points at three-quarter time, the home side stormed to victory with a six-goal final quarter led by two goals to Rory Sloane and two goal assists from Jordan Gallucci.

Adelaide dominated the key indicators in the last term including contested possessions (+8), clearances (+9) and inside 50s (+8).

The Crows also grabbed five contested marks - three of which resulted in goals to Sloane, Hugh Greenwood and Taylor Walker.

According to Champion Data’s numbers, co-captains Sloane and Walker were the top two-ranked Crows in the final term.

Walker took three marks on the lead against the Giants, taking his season tally to 22, ranked second in the League behind Greater Western Sydney spearhead Jeremy Cameron.

After missing three weeks through injury, Matt Crouch highlighted his importance to the Crows engine room with 34 disposals at 73.5 per cent efficiency.

His brother, Brad Crouch, collected 31 disposals, marking the fourth time this season the two brothers have had 30+ disposals in the same game.

They also combined for 28 contested possessions (14 apiece) and 13 clearances (Brad 7, Matt 6).

Ruckman Reilly O’Brien was the only player on the ground with more clearances, finishing with a game-high nine.

His clearance work placed him fourth across the League, with only North Melbourne's Ben Cunnington (14), Richmond's Dion Prestia (10) and Melbourne's Max Gawn (10) having more for the round.

The big man also had a game-high six inside 50s and was dominant in the ruck with 11 hitouts to advantage, ranked equal-second for the round behind Gawn (14).
