Adelaide has secured an additional first round draft selection after completing a pick swap with Greater Western Sydney on Tuesday.

The Crows have traded pick No.4 in the 2019 AFL Draft in exchange for two first round selections – pick No.6 in this year’s draft and Giants’ first round pick in the 2020 draft.

Crows General Manager List Management and Strategy Justin Reid said the Club was thrilled to add another first round selection.

“We saw the opportunity to maintain a top-six pick in a fairly even draft while accumulating more stock in the future as a massive positive for the Club,” Reid said.

“Our strategy is focused on rejuvenating our playing list through the draft and having the ability to secure more elite talent next year with an additional first round pick is an exciting one.”

Adelaide currently holds picks 6, 23, 28, 37, 45 and 49 in this year’s draft.

The Crows now have two first round selections and two second round selections in the 2020 draft.
