Kids will get free access to two Adelaide games in 2016 as the Club launches its own Sunday Funday.
In a first for Adelaide Oval and the Crows, children will get free tickets to home games against St Kilda (June 5) and Essendon (July 31).
Tickets will be available through Ticketek with junior general admission on offer.
Crows Chief Executive Officer Andrew Fagan said it was about giving back to supporters.
“We are always looking at different ways to engage with our fans and we want our matches to be as accessible to as many people as possible,” Fagan said.
“Sunday Funday gives our younger supporters and their families a great opportunity to attend a game at a reduced cost.
“A highlight for the children is the expanded Crows Kids Zone, which includes a Mini Draft Camp as well as kicking and handball zones and a range of interactive activities.”
Fagan said Sunday Funday is just one of many Club initiatives aimed at junior supporters.
“Kids are the future of our sport both as players and as fans and at the footy club we want to positively and proactively engage with our younger supporters in a way that’s meaningful for them,” Fagan said.
“In schools we have our Growing with Gratitude program that aims to reach 50,000 children in 2016.
“In the digital space we have invested in a full-time children’s content coordinator who will help provide content that kids want, delivered in the way they want it.
“This isn’t about one off stunts or short term programs it’s about having a broad platform of engagement in schools and in clubs, at our matches both home and away and of course using our digital platform.”
