Riley Knight will play his first game in over three months in Saturday’s SANFL clash with Norwood.

Experienced trio Ricky Henderson, Andy Otten and Nathan van Berlo will also return from injury to bolster Adelaide’s SANFL line up.

Knight has overcome an ankle complaint which has sidelined the skilful half-forward since early May. He last played in Adelaide’s Round Six loss to South Adelaide at Noarlunga.

The injury has restricted the 21-year-old, who played 11 AFL games after making his debut in Round 15 last season, to just five matches this year. His only AFL appearance was against Richmond in Round Three.

Henderson returns after missing a fortnight with Achilles soreness. The 27-year-old last played at SANFL level against former club Central District in Round 13.

Van Berlo’s last match was also against the Bulldogs in June. The former skipper has overcome a plantar fascia injury in his foot to be named in the centre for the SANFL Crows.

Otten, 27, has recovered from a dislocated thumb sustained in last month’s SANFL home game at Thebarton and will add further depth to Adelaide’s defence.

Development players Matthew Johncock and Trent Heffernan have also been included in the squad. Adelaide’s 21-man SANFL team will be finalised on game day.

Ruckman Reilly O’Brien, defender Jake Kelly and midfielder Cam Ellis-Yolmen have all been called into Adelaide’s AFL squad ahead of Sunday’s clash with Fremantle in Perth.

Rookie Keenan Ramsey remains another fortnight away from returning to action due to an ankle injury.
