Adelaide brothers Brad and Matt Crouch enjoy throwing a barb or two at each other.

Whether it’s racking up touches at Adelaide Oval, or swinging the clubs on the golf course, the brothers thrive off their competition.

It seems, however, that Brad has the best of his younger brother on the links.

“Down to eight (handicap) now,” Brad told Triple M’s The Rush Hour.

According to co-host Andrew Jarman, Matt was on the show a few weeks back throwing some shade about how much better he was “at everything”.

Brad was quick to fire back.

“I’ve never seen someone play golf so often as Matt and not improve, he’s off of 23,” Brad said.

“It’s an ongoing joke around the Club, Matt’s golf and some of the things he’s been able to do on the golf course.”

All jokes aside, Brad said he was pleased football’s return was finally on the horizon.

“The draw is pretty good for us, we’ve got some decent opportunities to win some games early,” he said.

“I think it’s great we can play one more week in SA before heading off.”

Adelaide will face the Power in Round Two at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, June 13.

The Club are then set to relocate to a hub on the Gold Coast and face the Suns, Brisbane and Fremantle in Queensland.
