GOLD Coast rookie sensation Jaeger O'Meara has extended his contract with the Suns for a further two years.
O'Meara will now be with the club until at least the end of the 2016 season.
The 19-year-old is yet to miss a game since making his debut against St Kilda in round one.
O'Meara has had an outstanding first season, averaging more than 22 disposals in his 15 games, and kicking 10 goals.
He has surged more than 200 places in the Official AFL Player Ratings in that time, sitting 396th overall.
List manager Scott Clayton said the contract extension demonstrated the faith O'Meara had in the direction of the Suns.
O'Meara agreed, and said he was "rapt" to extend his deal.
"The club showed enormous faith in me when I was recruited and in doing so provided me a great opportunity," O'Meara said.
"We still have a heap of hard work ahead of us, but I believe we have the chance to build something special here on the Gold Coast, and that's something I really want to be a part of."

O'Meara's combination of inside ball-winning, outside pace and supreme ball use and finishing skills has had many compare him to Carlton's Chris Judd and his own captain Gary Ablett.
Tim Watson recently said O'Meara has the potential to become the greatest midfielder in the history of the game.
O'Meara was taken by the Suns with selection one in the 2011 GWS trade incentive draft.
To land O'Meara, Gold Coast traded selection four in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft and exchanged later picks with the Giants to secure the rights to select O'Meara.
O'Meara joins Dion Prestia, Zac Smith, Trent McKenzie, Jack Martin and Rory Thompson among other Suns to have re-committed in 2013.
