Taylor Walker has been placed on Adelaide’s long term injury list after suffering a season ending knee injury last Saturday.

Crows General Manager of List Development and Strategy David Noble said, “It is important for us to provide the coaching panel with as many selection options as possible.

“With Taylor on the long term injury list, it means we can now select another rookie if needed.”

There has been no replacement for Walker on the senior list at this stage.

Adelaide’s current rookie-listed players are Tim McIntyre, Kyle Hartigan, Dylan Orval, Ben Dowdell, Jack Osborn and Tim Klaosen. Last month, Rory Laird was promoted from the rookie list in place of defender Sam Shaw, who was placed on the long-term injury list because of a hamstring complaint.

Laird made his AFL debut against the Western Bulldogs in Round Four.
