Adelaide footballers will play Port Adelaide in a Twenty20 cricket game next Tuesday to raise funds for the Bushfire Appeal.

‘SA Footy’s Bushfire Bash for Cash’ will be staged at AAMI Stadium by the SANFL, the Crows and the Power to show the South Australian football’s support for communities devastated by this shocking national tragedy.

Crows chief executive officer Steven Trigg said it was a great opportunity for the football community to rally behind the bushfire victims.

“We encourage all our supporters and partners to come along and show their support. We have already recruited Tony Modra as a guest player and I’m sure there will be plenty of competition from current players for spots in the team.

“And we are playing Port, so our boys will want to win.”

The game will start at 6.15pm and tickets will be available on Friday afternoon from Ticketmaster , the Adelaide and Port Adelaide football clubs, the SANFL all the SANFL clubs.
