1. All in Adelaide

Born in Adelaide, Thilthorpe didn’t need to travel too far to reach his commitments. Living in Everard Park, he went to Adelaide High and played footy at the Goodwood Saints.

2. Ice hockey

Thilthorpe’s dad played ice hockey for Australia.

3. Every sport

Following in his dad’s footsteps, Thilthorpe also played ice hockey until he was 10, before trying out football. He has also tried many other sports including volleyball, badminton and cricket.

4. Oldest

Thilthorpe is the oldest sibling, with two younger sisters that are 15 and 12.

5. Filthy

Taken (almost) from his last name, Thilthorpe gets called Filthy.

6. Lucky number seven

It was announced this week that Thilthorpe’s guernsey number will be seven, which is an incredibly lucky number in his family. First, Thilthorpe was born on the seventh day of the seventh month, then both of his sisters were born on the seventh of a month too.

7. Playing with Sloane

Like fellow draftee Luke Pedlar, Thilthorpe is excited to play alongside skipper Rory Sloane because of his leadership and the way he attacks the game.

8. Commerce

Thilthorpe is thinking about doing a Bachelor of Commerce at university after receiving his ATAR score this week.

9. Westies debut

Making his League debut for West Adelaide last year in the SANFL is his current career highlight.

10. Lifelong Crow

A Crows supporter his whole life, Patrick Dangerfield and Kurt Tippett were some of the players he admired growing up. His new assistant coach Nathan van Berlo was also one of his favourites.
