Two Crows have been selected in the 40-woman AFL Players’ Association AFLW 22Under22 squad.

The fan-voted award recognises the best 22 players aged under 22 for the entirety of the AFLW season.

Forwards Danielle Ponter and Chloe Scheer have been named in the side in recognition of their stellar AFLW seasons.

Scheer spent 685 days away from football after tearing her ACL in the 2019 AFLW Grand Final and suffering meniscus injuries in both knees.

She made her return to the Crows side in Round 3 against Fremantle and has since booted four goals and averaged 12 disposals.

A goal-kicking powerhouse, Ponter kicked eight majors in the 2021 season and averaged 2.4 marks.

The fan whose team is best-matched to the final 22 will also win a prize.
