Adelaide Club Champion Ebony Marinoff has capped off a stellar season by signing a two-year contract extension.

Marinoff has emerged as one of the AFLW’s leading midfielders, having played 41 games for the Crows since her debut in 2017.

She also played for the victorious Glenelg in last weekend’s SANFLW Grand Final where she was judged best afield.

The 23-year-old is also a two-time AFLW premiership player and was the competition’s inaugural Rising Star award winner.

“I believe we have what it takes to achieve the ultimate success and I know every individual involved in this Club is driven more than ever to win another premiership,” Marinoff said.

“I love helping our players to become the best versions of themselves on and off the field, especially the younger players and those new to the game. It brings me a lot of joy.

“It’s very exciting to have re-signed with a club that means so much to me and has become my second home ever since I walked through the doors as a 17-year-old.”

Crows Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper described Marinoff as a consistent player who was vital to the Club’s ongoing success.

“It is pleasing that we have Ebony locked away for another two years,” Harper said.

“She has a history of on-field consistency, finishing in the top three of our Best and Fairest every year.”

Another four players – Caitlin Gould, Rachelle Martin, Hannah Munyard and Lisa Whiteley – have also re-signed with the Club today.

“Thirteen players have re-signed with the Club this week, highlighting the continued loyalty from each player not only to the team but the Club as a whole,” Harper said.

The AFLW’s Sign and Trade Period finishes next Wednesday.
