Luke Pedlar will make his AFL debut for Adelaide on Saturday against the Lions.

The young No. 10 was named to play his first game following a string of impressive performances in the SANFL and at training.

"Luke is a tough and courageous player who really embraces the contest," Crows Head of Football Adam Kelly said.

"Following a period earlier in the year where we were managing Luke's workloads, he has been able to string together a number of good games in the SANFL.

"We are excited about seeing him at AFL level."

Billy Frampton and Nick Murray have also been named to face Brisbane.

Darcy Fogarty, Will Hamill and Shane McAdam have been omitted.

Hamill, Jackson Hately, Andrew McPherson and Elliott Himmelberg have been named as emergencies with one to be confirmed as the medical substitute one hour before the game.

Saturday’s game commences at 4.05pm ACST. It will be televised live on Channel 7 in Adelaide and nationwide on Fox Footy.
