Crows forward Taylor Walker was not considered for selection for this weekend’s game against Port Adelaide and has been omitted.

The Club has made three changes for Showdown 50 with debutant Brayden Cook and David Mackay as well as emerging key forward Riley Thilthorpe coming into the team.

Cook, who was selected by the Crows with Pick No.25 from South Adelaide in last year’s National Draft, was told of his AFL debut during Thursday morning’s training session.

Joining Walker in going out of the side from last week’s loss to the Western Bulldogs are first-year players Sam Berry and James Rowe who have both been omitted.

Berry, Ben Davis, Shane McAdam and Billy Frampton have been named as emergencies, with one to be confirmed as the medical substitute one hour before the game.

Showdown 50 will be played in front of a crowd of 15,000 due to Covid-19 restrictions at 7.10pm at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.

The match will be televised live on 7mate in Adelaide and on Fox Footy nationwide.
