Stengle is the latest in a talented footballing family, he is the cousin of Eddie Betts and nephew of Sydney legend Michael O’Loughlin. An exciting small forward, Stengle played two AFL games after Richmond drafted the South Aussie in the 2017 Rookie Draft. Two years later, he was traded to Adelaide ahead of the 2019 season. He led the way in the forward line for the SANFL Crows in 2019, before making his Club debut in Round 17. The former Richmond player booted five goals in two games for Adelaide. Stengle had a trio of four-goal hauls. During the off-season, he was handed the No. 18 guernsey by Betts and played another eight games in 2020.
