Originally selected by Carlton with Pick 13 in the 2019 AFLW Draft and debuting in 2020, the 170cm on-baller went on to play 66 games for both the Blues and Richmond before joining the Crows in the 2025 AFLW Trade Period. Her ball-winning skill has seen her finish in the Top 5 of Richmond’s best and fairest count in two of her four seasons there. In 2025 Egan overcame a serious illness which hospitalised her for three weeks, to play nine games for the season, averaging 20 disposals, four tackles and three clearances - including a career-best 29-disposal game in Round 12.
