AFL 2017 Round 09 - Brisbane v Adelaide

Curtly Hampton

Utility Curtly Hampton has been placed on Adelaide's long-term injury list.

Hampton, 24, had surgery after suffering an ankle injury during the Club's Round Nine win over Brisbane at the Gabba.

The ex-Giant made his Crows debut in Adelaide's Round One win over Greater Western Sydney and had played every game of the season until the injury.

Hampton joins midfielder Cameron Ellis-Yolmen and first-year draftee Ben Davis on the Club’s long-term injury list.

Players added to the long-term injury list are ineligible for senior selection for a minimum period of eight weeks. The Club is permitted to upgrade a rookie to the senior roster as a replacement.

The Club has not nominated a rookie to replace Hampton on the senior list at this stage.

Adelaide’s current rookie-listed players are Paul Hunter, Alex Keath and Ben Jarman.
