Adelaide has taken another step towards finalising its list ahead of the AFLW’s Season Seven after 11 more players put pen to paper.

Exciting ruck Caitlin Gould, speedy midfielders Rachelle Martin, and Hannah Munyard, together with rising defender Chelsea Biddell, have all chosen to remain at West Lakes.

The four claimed their first flag wins after featuring in the Season Six Grand Final against Melbourne.

Gould, Martin, Biddell and Munyard have signed one-year deals to remain at the Club until at least the end of Season Seven.

Jasmine Simmons, Madison Newman, Ailish Considine and Lisa Whiteley have also signed one-year deals.

Young stars Zoe Prowse, Brooke Tonon and Abbie Ballard, who all made their debuts in Season Six, have put pen to paper for another two seasons.

Crows Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said they were all exceptional young talents and securing their signatures for another campaign was crucial to continuing to build for more success.

Harper said the 11 players were starting to grow in confidence, which had led to them becoming very important players.

“We saw these players take their games to another level this past season and we are putting no limits on what they can do in Season Seven,” Harper said.

“We’re so very pleased to have them commit to us and be part of our team’s future.”

Adelaide has now retained or extended the contracts of 25 players from its Season Six squad, while also adding Niamh Kelly and Amber Ward following a trade with West Coast.

Adelaide kicks off pre-season training on Saturday before Season Seven starts in late August.
