Crows co-captain Taylor Walker has joked Adelaide may soon have a third Crouch brother.

Speaking on Triple M’s Roo & Ditts, Walker said Paul Seedsman was weighing up a name change to fall in line with the star brothers.

Co-host Mark Ricciuto asked Walker if there was much competition between Matt and Brad given the latter’s return from injury this year.

“Matt just has to get the jacket out of the wardrobe,” Walker joked, referring to Matt’s Club Champion award in 2017.

“And the shadow is not far behind, Paul Seedsman.

“He wants to be a Crouch, I reckon he’s going to put in a slip to change his name - Paul Crouch.”

Adelaide players enjoyed a four-day break during the bye before returning to training on Thursday.

The squad trained on Saturday and Monday with the focus firmly on Geelong.

“We’ll have to be brave with our ball movement,” Walker said.

“But in saying that, you have to win the contest.

“We’re going to have to win inside and when it goes forward, keep it in the forward half.”

On Monday, Greater Western Sydney announced its intentions to play a premiership match in the United States  - following in the footsteps of Port Adelaide in China and St Kilda in New Zealand.

Walker backed the idea and said any effort to “grow our great game” was worth exploring.

“You get people out on work experience in Australia and the first thing they say is, ‘jeez man, you don’t wear pads, you don’t wear helmets’,” he said.
