Adelaide Captain Chelsea Randall will return for the Crows’ AFLW preliminary final clash against Brisbane at Metricon Stadium.

Randall missed the semi-final win against Collingwood last weekend due to the AFL’s concussion protocol but will play in Friday night’s blockbuster match.

Crows AFLW Senior Coach Matthew Clarke said Randall’s on-field experience and leadership would be a huge boost for the side, as it eyed a consecutive Grand Final appearance.

“She’s a great player and she’s a great leader,” Clarke said.

“But just her on-field presence, in terms of how she plays the game will be significant.

“They’re (the players) absolutely happy to have her back, but so are the coaches.”

Utility Brooke Tonon has been omitted.

The match will be special for two-time Premiership defender Marijana Rajcic, who will notch her 50th game.

Rajcic, a former W League striker with Adelaide United, was selected at the 2017 AFLW Draft and made her debut against the Western Bulldogs in Round Three, 2018.

“It’s a pretty amazing accomplishment, given it’s her second career after a really successful soccer career,” Clarke said.

“MJ isn’t part of our formal leadership group but is undoubtedly one of our leaders.”

Adelaide takes on Brisbane at Metricon Stadium on Friday at 6.40pm (7.10PM ACDT).

Crows players will wear black armbands and pink shoe laces to pay respect to former teammate and 2017 Premiership player Heather Anderson who passed away suddenly earlier this week.

The winner of the match will progress to the Season Seven Grand Final and play either Melbourne or North Melbourne.
