Adelaide’s AFL draft period is complete after re-selecting defenders Will Hamill and James Borlase in the rookie draft today.

Both were delisted in the lead-up to the draft but with a commitment they would return to the list as rookies.

The Crows took Hamill at Pick 8 Borlase at Pick 20.

That followed Adelaide’s three selections in the first round of the National Draft on Monday night when the Crows landed key defender Daniel Curtin at Pick 8, midfielder Charlie Edwards at Pick 21 and running defender Oscar Ryan at Pick 27.

“We were always committed to re-selecting Will and James who were only delisted to allow us to have three picks in the National Draft on Monday,” Crows National Recruiting Manager Hamish Ogilvie said.

“Both have shown they are very capable of playing good footy at AFL level and are looking forward to big pre-seasons.”

Adelaide’s players commence pre-season training at West Lakes on Monday, November 27.
