Adelaide has been buoyed by a strong SANFL fixture headlined by three Adelaide Oval games and a Round One clash with the Panthers on Good Friday.

The SANFL released the 2024 fixture on Wednesday and the Adelaide Oval ties include a pair of Showdown curtain-raisers (Round Five, 17) and a matchup with Sam Jacobs’ Eagles in Round 10.

Crows SANFL coach Mick Godden said the three games scheduled for Adelaide Oval were a boost for the side.

“We are happy with the draw, considering the varying days the AFL side is playing on,” Godden said.

“Overall the two programs will be aligned pretty well.

“To have three games at Adelaide Oval - two Showdowns and a match against Woodville-West Torrens - is excellent for our playing group and supporters.”

The Crows will again face West Adelaide in a Neil Kerley tribute match in Murray Bridge (Round 16).

“We are looking forward to another Neil Kerley tribute match against West Adelaide later in the year and are keen for another opportunity to take our game to the community,” Godden said.

“It’s a great opportunity to honour not only a legend of our Club, but of the SA football world, so we are privileged to be involved.”

The SANFL’s First Nations Rounds - celebrating Indigenous and Torres Strait Islanders’ contribution to the game - will be hosted across Rounds Seven and Eight, with the Crows playing Sturt at Unley Oval, then West Adelaide at Richmond Oval.
