Crows duo Jordan Dawson and Riley Thilthorpe have been selected in the AFL’s All-Australian side for 2025.

Dawson returns to the team following a maiden selection in 2023, off the back of career-best numbers in clearances (4.4 per game) and contested possessions (9.8 per game).

The 28-year-old led the Crows to the Minor Premiership this season, recording the highest ladder position rise year-on-year in AFL history (15th to 1st).

He was also named Vice Captain, following in the footsteps of Rory Sloane in 2016.

Thilthorpe, meanwhile, has earned his first All-Australian blazer after notching 55 goals from 23 games.

Adelaide’s top pick from the 2020 National Draft has been dominant for the Crows both up forward and in the ruck, recording career-high averages in goals (2.4), disposals (13.7), marks (5.7) and hitouts (6.4).

Crows Coach Matthew Nicks said the pair had both been major catalysts in Adelaide’s rise up the ladder in 2025.

“It’s been incredible to watch them both this season,” Nicks said.

“Jordan has on multiple occasions put the team on his back and lifted the side when we really needed it.

“He’s an exceptional player, person and leader for this footy Club and it’s so pleasing for me to watch him get the credit he deserves.

“And Riley getting his first call-up, he’s had himself an outstanding year.

“He missed most of 2024 with that knee injury and just really spent the time putting in the work behind the scenes, out of the spotlight.

“In 2025, people got to see the result of that. Riley imposed himself as a real key to our forward-half game and brought so much energy to our side.

“I’m extremely proud of both of them.”

The 2025 All-Australian selection panel is Andrew Dillon (Chair), Eddie Betts, Jude Bolton, Nathan Buckley, Kane Cornes, Abbey Holmes, Glen Jakovic, Laura Kane and Matthew Pavlich.
