The WA Crows Supporters Group has capped a rapid rise as one of the Adelaide Football Club’s most passionate outposts after being crowned the 2025 AFL Fans Association Supporter Group of the Year.
What began as a small Facebook page created by devoted fans Shaun Trevena, Callum White and Kris Purvis, has now evolved into a thriving hub with more than 1100 members.
The group’s growth accelerated after Alex Barnett joined in 2020, helping to cement a strong sense of camaraderie connection among ex-pat South Australians and local supporters.
Together, the volunteer organisers have worked to bring the spirit of Crows footy across the Nullabor, building a community known for its warmth, inclusivity and passion for the Adelaide Football Club.
Co-ordinator Alex Barnett said she was proud of the hard work members had put in and was keen to continue cheering on his beloved Crows in 2026 and beyond.
“This award is a fantastic acknowledgement to our members in WA who continue to show up for each other and their commitment to the Adelaide Football Club they love so much,” Barnett said.
“It’s an honour to accept this award on their behalf.”
