Adelaide will change-up its coaching structure with Murray Davis taking control of the AFL team for the Club’s two practice games.
The Coaching Director will step into the role of Senior Coach, allowing Matthew Nicks to take in a different perspective.
Crows Head of Football Adam Kelly said the Club wanted to take this opportunity to assess a number of aspects ahead of the season proper.
“Pre-season games provide an important opportunity to trial and fine-tune all areas of your program, both on and off the field,” Kelly said.
“You will see Nicksy taking time to focus on different aspects of how we interact and operate in-game, with a bit more freedom to assess some of the structural and tactical elements.”
Adelaide has games against Port Adelaide and Fremantle to round out its preparation for the 2026 home and away season.
