Adelaide forward Izak Rankine has received a Round Seven Goal of the Year nomination for his classy stoppage finish against Brisbane on Sunday.
Rankine’s skills around the sticks were on display early at The Gabba, as he hit a forward 50 stoppage at speed, gathered the ball and produced a difficult dribble finish from the boundary line.
The goal was Rankine’s first of two majors for the day, as he finished with 19 disposals and five score involvements.
