Adelaide Vice-Captain Alex Neal-Bullen is likely to return from a minor knee injury to face Port Adelaide in Showdown 59 on Friday night.

Crows General Manager High Performance Ian McKeown said the 30-year-old forward would rejoin main training at Adelaide Oval on Tuesday evening after missing Round Seven.

“Nibbler will join in main training on Tuesday night and should he get through that, he will no doubt be putting his magnet on the board for a return to play,” McKeown said.

Meanwhile, key forward Darcy Fogarty continues his rehab following back soreness and will be listed as a test ahead of Round Eight.

The 26-year-old, who has missed the past three matches, completed a full training session over the weekend and was now expected to rejoin the main training group.

“Pleasingly, Fog has been able to put in some strong sessions on the track and is doing really well,” McKeown said.

“We can’t yet make a call on whether he’ll play or not, so he's listed as a test, but we’ll see how he gets through training this week and how his back responds.”
