Crows star Izak Rankine received a perfect 10 AFLCA coaches’ votes for his scintillating performance during Adelaide’s 37-point win against Richmond at the MCG on Sunday. 

Rankine enjoyed a career-best match against the Tigers, featuring predominantly in the midfield, to finish with 33 disposals, 10 marks and nine tackles.

The 26-year-old, who played a big part in Adelaide’s second-half blitz, also recorded eight score involvements, 684 metres gained, and kicked a goal.

Skipper Jordan Dawson (29 disposals, 12 marks, four tackles, three clearances and 684 metres gained), and defender Waybe Milera (34 disposals, six marks), were awarded seven votes each for their influential performances.

Veteran Rory Laird received two votes for his 27 possessions and 12 marks, while Josh Worrell (21 touches, seven marks), and Alex Neal-Bullen (16 disposals, nine marks, two goals) rounded out the vote-getters for the Crows with one apiece,
