Adelaide has named an unchanged line-up ahead of its Round Five clash against Geelong at Unley Oval on Saturday afternoon.
The Crows have opted to stick with the team that stunned the Hawks on their home deck last weekend with a 28-point win.
Adelaide Executive General Manager Women’s Football Bree Brock said naming an unchanged side reflected both last week's performance and the growing cohesion within the group.
“It’s always a great position to go into a game with an unchanged line-up, the team performed very well last week and we hope they can back that up again on Saturday afternoon,” Brock said.
“Being a young group, continuity is very important, and we've been very impressed with how this group has gelled together across the first month of the season.”
The game will also mark three significant milestones for Adelaide, with triple premiership Crow Sarah Allan set to notch her 100th AFLW game, while 2022 premiership teammate Caitlin Gould and Irish star Niamh Kelly are both poised to reach the 75-game milestone.
“Sarah is a champion of our Club, and we can’t wait to celebrate her contribution in front of our home crowd on Saturday afternoon,” Brock said.
“Since the competition began, Sarah has been a constant force in defence and one of the most reliable players I have come across.
“To become the third Adelaide player to reach the 100-game milestone is a great achievement, and we look forward to celebrating her at Unley Oval this weekend.”
Brock said the Crows were expecting another great test when they faced the fourth-placed Cats, with the team excited for the battle.
“The Cats will present another great challenge for our group, and one we are excited to undertake,” Brock said.
“They have been one of the standout teams across the first month of the season, and will pose a threat with their attacking style of play, so we will need to be at our best to get the job done.
“We’ve built a lot of positive momentum across the past fortnight, and hope that can continue in front of our home fans at Unley this weekend.”
Amy Boyle Carr, Ava Stewart and Alice Tentye are named as the emergencies.
Adelaide takes on Geelong at Unley Oval on Saturday at 2.35pm.
