Adelaide key back Chelsea Biddell has been recognised for a strong season with selection in the 2026 AFLW All-Australian squad.
The 42-player squad was announced on Thursday afternoon, with Biddell being named in defence.
The 28-year-old, who is part of the Crows’ leadership group, played 11 of the 12 matches this year, averaging 16.2 disposals at 70.8 per cent efficiency - above her previous career average of 12.8 disposals.
She also averaged 3.5 marks, 2.3 intercept marks, 3.3 spoils, and 5.4 rebounds inside defensive-50.
Drafted by Adelaide as a key forward in 2019 after finishing second in the SANFLW goal-kicking, Biddell arrived with a booming kick and strong aerial presence.
But it was her move to defence in 2022 that proved a masterstroke, as she played a key role in Adelaide's Season Six premiership-winning backline.
Ahead of 2025, the star defender had finished inside Adelaide's top five in the Club Champion voting for four straight seasons.
She continued her outstanding form in 2025, finishing runner-up in the Club Champion Award and claiming the Club's Best Defensive Player Award.
Biddell earned her first All-Australian blazer in Season Seven (2022) and was then selected in the final team again in 2023 and 2024.
Should the South Australian product earn All-Australian honours again this year, it would mark her fourth selection.
The squad of 42 will be cut to a final 21 on Monday, November 26, as part of the 2026 W Awards.
