From world-class wineries to stunning beaches, South Australia has a lot to offer visitors.

Perhaps no one knows more about that than the Crows’ interstate recruits.

Victorian-born Richard Douglas moved to Adelaide in 2005 after he was taken with pick 16 in the national draft.

In his 14th year at the Club, Douglas revealed his favourite aspects of living in South Australia.

“Really close proximity to the beach, hills and city,” Douglas told host Daniel Talia on FOOTYplus, brought to you by Toyota.

“(I) enjoy heading off on a Sunday arvo and seeing where the car takes you.

“I love the outdoors, camping and the trekking (in the) Flinders Ranges.

“If you get to Adelaide in autumn or winter, get out to the Adelaide Hills and experience all the fresh produce and wines.”

Keen golfer Rory Atkins said he enjoy the quality of courses on offer in Adelaide.

"Im not that good," Atkins told Talia, with a smile on his face.

"But we manage to get out and have a hit at courses that you don't usually have the chance to play at in Melbourne."

Talia also asked Atkins, Douglas and Kyle Hartigan where the best coffee was in Adelaide.

“Best coffee down Glenelg way is Superette,” Atkins said assured.

Hartigan, however, had a different preference.

“Probably the Red Mill on Bower Road, really good coffee down there,” he said.

Douglas favoured Elementary Coffee and backed-up Atkins' selection, Superette.
