Adelaide has stayed with the same 22 that thrashed Geelong last week for the match-of-the-round clash against Sydney at the SCG on Sunday.

The Crows left out Hayden Skipworth, Chris Knights and John Hinge from the 25-man squad named on Thursday night with Robert Shirley, Jason Torney, Ivan Maric and Jason Porplyzia all selected on the bench.

Sydney has also named an unchanged team as the Swans look to try and move back into the top four this week.

Sydney has kept faith with the 22 that defeated Fremantle last week, selecting Jarred Moore, Nick Davis, Paul Williams and Luke Vogels on the bench.

The Swans named Ted Richards, Paul Chambers and Ben Mathews as their three emergencies, with Paul Roos eager to let the trio have a hitout in the reserves this week in order to have them match-hardened ahead of the Grand Final rematch with West Coast in Perth next week.

"At least then they will be cherry-ripe for the following week to be available for selection from a fitness point of view, at the moment there is still a little bit of doubt on their fitness, particularly Benny Mathews," Roos said.
