Crows midfielder Matt Crouch is determined to put down more roots in Adelaide.

Speaking to AFC Media ahead of the new year, Crouch said buying a house would be one of his New Year’s resolutions in 2020.

“I want to settle more in Adelaide,” Crouch said.

“I enjoy the Adelaide lifestyle and want (my own) house to live in here.

“I’m sick of renting… just want to live in my own home.”

Also a focus in 2020 will be lowering the golf handicap to compete with regular playing partners Taylor Walker, Paul Seedsman and brother Brad.

“My handicap is shocking, it’s 20,” Crouch said.

“My goal next year is to get the handicap down to around 15.

“I need to hit the driving range more, but I just play all the time, which probably isn’t helping.

“I just need to get a few more lessons to bring the handicap down.”

The 24-year-old will be aiming to catch up to Brad and Seedsman.

“Brad and Seedo (Seedsman) are around the same (but) Brad has just overtaken him,” Matt said.

“I think Brad is off 11 and Seedo is just slightly over that.”

Professionally, the 2017 Club Champion said his focus was to “get back to playing good footy” and to play finals.

Crouch played 19 matches in 2019 and averaged 32.63 disposals per game.
