Adelaide full back Ben Rutten missed the club’s main training session on Thursday because of a virus.

He is, however, expected to be well enough to train with the team on Saturday morning before flying to Sydney for Sunday’s clash with the Swans at the SCG.

First-year forward Jason Porplyzia, who kicked two goals in the second term against Geelong on Sunday before sitting out the second half after copping a knock to the hip, trained well and should be available for selection.

Young draftee Richard Douglas also trained with the main group for the first time since hurting a knee playing for SANFL club Glenelg in May.

And defender Ben Hart has had the cast removed from his broken left arm and is on track to resume in round 15.
