Adelaide leads Port Adelaide 23-22 in the head-to-head battle following the three-point win in Showdown 45.

The Crows have only led Showdown victories in 2017 (22-21), 2000 (4-3) and 1999 (3-2).

The three-point margin is the equal closest in Showdown history, matching Adelaide’s 116-113 win in 2015.

Five Showdowns have been decided by a one-goal margin while 14 have been decided by single figures.

Matt Crouch passed 30 disposals for the 12th time this season. He notched 35 touches in his 15th game of the season and averaged a disposal every 2.7 mins.

Rory Atkins had a career-best 11 marks against Port Adelaide, for the second time in his career. He finished with 11 marks during Showdown 44 earlier this year as well.

Atkins and Bryce Gibbs proved to be a damaging pair, combining for 58 disposals, 41 uncontested possessions, 18 inside 50s and 45 kicks.

Matt Crouch (35 disposals) had 30+ touches for the 12th time this season from 15 games.

Josh Jenkins kicked a team-high three goals and a round high six tackled in the forward 50. He was one of only two Crows to kick multiple goals alongside Rory Sloane (2).

Alex Keath and Tom Doedee combined for 21 intercept possessions with Doedee claiming five intercept marks.

Adelaide ranked third overall for intercept marks with 20. Port Adelaide was 15th with 13.

The Crows had 69 inside 50s, a round-high alongside Melbourne. The Power had 47 inside 50s.

Adelaide also led disposals (390-327), kicks (231-208) and handballs (159-119).

Other favourable stats were marks (95-81), contested possessions (166-149), uncontested possessions (223-183), clearances (44-34) and tackles (70-52).

Disposal efficiency was high in defence, led by Doedee (95.2%), Keath (94.4%) and Luke Brown (89.5%).
