Adelaide’s Club Champion Rory Laird has proved to be the unanimous
The two-time All-Australian defender set the standard early and continued his form to poll a total of 362 votes, 107 votes ahead of Bryce Gibbs in second place.
Gibbs challenged the half-back as the fans voted him MVP from Round 11-13 but after Laird finished in the top three in eight of Adelaide’s first 10 games, his lead was too large to be reined in.
Laird improved on his third-place finish from 2017.

An injury-interrupted season saw last season’s runner-up, Matt Crouch, finish third with 216 votes after polling well in the final seven rounds.
Hugh Greenwood finished fourth with 128 votes with his 39 votes from Round 18 against Brisbane ensuring he finished just ahead of Tom Doedee in fifth with 123 votes.
Vice-captain Rory Sloane finished sixth after earning back-to-back Hertz Fans’ MVP titles in 2016-17.
