Adelaide’s loss to Richmond is the eighth of the season, with the Crows last losing eight in 2015. A 13-8 record saw Adelaide finish seventh that year.

With a percentage of 97.37 the Crows are on track to finish the season under 100% for the first time since 2011. That season saw a Club-low 79.43% as Adelaide finished 14th.

From 2012-2017 Adelaide’s season-ending percentage never dropped below 108.

Kicking 8.8 against the Tigers, the Crows had the same amount of goals and behinds for the second time in 2018 after kicking 9.9 against Richmond in Round 9.

Attracting 54,934 fans, the Round 16 blockbuster saw Adelaide play in front of its biggest ever home and away crowd.

Tom Doedee added more career-best numbers to his name with 28 disposals and three contested marks. He had 20 handballs, nine intercept possessions and eight marks, with Champion Data ranking him as the sixth best defender for Round 16.

Forward Josh Jenkins also had a top 10 ranking in Champion Data thanks to his three goals, 10 disposals and seven hitouts.

Richmond had 11 marks inside 50 to Adelaide’s four. They led inside 50s 67-45 while also controlled disposals (449-394) and contested possessions (166-151).

At the wrong end of the record table, Curtly Hampton only managed two disposals, a career-low from his 63 games at Adelaide and GWS.

Rory Laird had another 30+ disposal game against the Tigers with 35. It was the 11th time Laird achieved the 30+ mark in 2018, more than any other player in the AFL.

Matt Crouch had 38 disposals for the third time in his career and his 21 handballs were a round-high.

Only West Coast’s Andrew Gaff (41) and Brisbane’s Dayne Beams (40) had more disposals in Round 16.

Arguably playing his best game of an injury-interrupted season, Rory Sloane had a season-high 31 disposals and 18 contested possessions. It was just his sixth game of the season.

Sloane last had 30+ disposals in Round 23, 2017.
