Adelaide utility Isaac Cumming has been sidelined with a hamstring injury sustained at training on Monday night.

Crows General Manager High Performance Ian McKeown said Cumming - along with young forward Tyler Welsh who also injured his hamstring on Monday night - would undergo scans to determine the length of his rehabilitation.

“We will have a clearer picture of the extent of the injuries once the results of the scans come back,” McKeown said.

Defender Mitch Hinge required stitches to his cheek after he sustained a cut during Monday night’s training.

He will be a test after also rehabilitating an ankle strain sustained in the SANFL.

Meanwhile, McKeown said defender Mark Keane would be available for selection after successfully rehabbing a leg injury sustained in pre-season.

“Keaney’s done a mountain of work in rehab and we’re as excited as he is about him returning to the field,” he said.

However, Izak Rankine will spend another week in rehab while recovering from a moderate calf strain.

“Rankine is running well and we expect him to be in line for a return next week,” McKeown said.

Young midfielder Sid Draper continues to make progress in his return from a broken jaw.

“Sid has been progressing well and will be available to play in one week’s time, pending the approval of the oral surgeon,” he said.
