Adelaide is set to welcome back a pair of big names for Friday night’s JLT Community Series clash with Greater Western Sydney in Canberra.

Key defender Daniel Talia was given the all clear to play on Wednesday after successfully completing a full training session at West Lakes.

The two-time All Australian underwent surgery in December after suffering a knee injury in an innocuous incident at home.

Midfielder Bryce Gibbs will also return to the side after missing last weekend’s game in Port Pirie with a shoulder issue.

Gibbs was one of just four Crows to play all 22 games in 2018, finishing fourth in the best and fairest count in his maiden season with the Club.

Meantime, Tasmanian teenager Chayce Jones retains his spot in the squad, named on a wing.

The Crows will again play two ruckmen, with Sam Jacobs and Reilly O’Brien to share the ruck duties against the Giants.

Myles Poholke and Andy Otten have been omitted from the JLT1 squad and will play in Friday night's SANFL Trial game against Norwood at Norwood Oval.

Hugh Greenwood and David Mackay are also set to make their return to competitive action against the Redlegs.

The clash between the Crows and Giants starts at 7.20pm AEDT on Friday night and will be broadcast on Fox Footy.
