Adelaide’s Wayne Milera Junior has taken out the Club’s 2km time trial on Monday after edging out Jake Kelly and Reilly O’Brien in the final moments.

It was the first time the full squad was back together, marking the first main training session of the 2019 pre-season.

After claiming second place at last year’s trial, defender Jake Kelly finished strongly to take second, just ahead of ruckman Reilly O’Brien in third.

Brodie Smith made a strong return to training, taking fourth place as fellow half-back Rory Laird rounded out the top five.

Crows General Manager of High Performance Matt Hass said it was a promising return from the Club’s backline.

“It was an impressive time from up and coming big man Reilly O’Brien and some super impressive times from some of the guys we’d expect to excel in this like Junior, Kelly, Smith and Laird,” he said.
