Hugh Greenwood and Jordan Gallucci will pull on the tri-colours for the first time in Sunday's JLT Community Series clash with Geelong.

Gallucci, the Club’s first selection (No.15 overall) in last year’s National Draft, will play his first game for the Club at any level in the pre-season clash at Richmond Oval.

The impressive 18-year-old is a line-breaking midfielder with neat skills. He co-captained Victoria Metro last season and was a member of the AFL Academy.

Greenwood steps up for his first game at senior level in just his second year at the Club.

The former basketballer starred for the SANFL Crows last season, kicking 25 goals and finishing sixth in the State League Club Champion count. The 24-year-old was named co-captain of Adelaide's SANFL team on Wednesday as he continues to strive for an AFL debut.

Forward Riley Knightdefender Luke Brown and midfielder Dean Gore will all make their maiden appearances of 2017.

Knight, who missed last week's match against Richmond as part of his pre-season management, will play his first senior game since the Club’s Round Three win over the Tigers last year. A revelation in 2015, the hard-running forward/wingman missed a large chunk of 2016 with an ankle injury.

It will be Knight's first pre-season game for the Club.

The reliable Brown will make his return from a groin complaint against the Cats to strengthen Adelaide's backline.

Gore gets his first opportunity of the year after a solid first season with the SANFL Crows. The diligent onballer played in all three of Adelaide's pre-season matches last year, but is yet to make his AFL debut.

Draftee Elliott Himmelberg and rookies Ben Jarman and Paul Hunter were left out of the final team after being named in the initial 29-man squad.

Forwards Mitch McGovern (knee) and Jono Beech (calf) won’t be risked this week after sustaining minor injuries in the Club’s loss to the Tigers. Midfielder Cam Ellis-Yolmen ruptured his ACL against Richmond and requires a knee reconstruction.

Ruckman Sam Jacobs, who experienced back tightness on Friday night, has been cleared to play. Eddie Betts and Josh Jenkins are being rested.

Several Crows, including Kyle Cheney, Jake Lever and Alex Keath, could be available for selection in Adelaide’s final pre-season game against the Brisbane Lions at Noarlunga on Saturday, March 11.
